Custom Rear Bumpers

Everyone loves having a slick looking winch bumper on the front of their vehicle but let’s not neglect the rear end! Rear bumpers actually have even more versatility than front bumpers in the sense that so very many options can be incorporated to solve issues and create happy campers (figuratively and literally).

Previous examples of our custom bumpers have included options such as, but not limited to: Integral tow receiver with safety chain plate, shackle mount recovery points, single swingarm tire carrier, double swing arm tire carrier/cargo carrier, Fuel can mount, folding table (food grade top if requested), accessory lighting, accessory 12v supply, fire extinguisher mount, Hi-Lift jack mount, and so much more!

We offer a selection of latch/closure options as well as hinge/bearing hub options for our swingarms (all of which are rattle free).

Custom Skid Plates/Undercarriage Protection

So often it’s what you don’t see that can be dangerous. Such is the case on the trail and under your vehicle. Custom Bumpers/Winch Cradles

Have a look at some of the custom bumpers we’ve fabricated in the past for ideas and inspiration for your own custom Balmer bumper! We can build bumpers for virtually any small to mid-size vehicle. We can design/create a tube bumper, plate bumper or a hybrid tube/plate bumper to suit the style of your vehicle and to satisfy all your requirements. We’ll even help you out with design and accessory options as we plan the build. Customers are welcome to provide input/feedback as the project progresses as well.

If it’s just a winch cradle you’re after to mount your winch “receiver style” then we can help out there too. Balmer Fab has created winch custom cradles for all sorts of specific applications and for all sorts of vehicles.

Custom Roof Racks/Expedition Baskets

We produce custom roof racks to fit any vehicle for any purpose. From a simple frame to support lumber, ladders or a boat to something more complex like an expedition basket, Balmer Fab is ready to build the rack that suits your needs. We’re also happy to incorporate custom mounts onto our racks/baskets for gear such as kayaks/canoes, bikes, spare tires, roof top tents, fuel/water containers, Hi-Lift Jacks, chainsaws, axes, shovels and much more.

Rock Sliders

There’s no vehicle we can’t fit rock sliders to – and that includes uni-body rigs as well! Balmer Fab has produced countless sliders tailored for most every type of vehicle some which have even included integral skid plating and more! We offer several different types of tubing, many rub rail/kick-out designs, top plates with dimple died holes or a checkered finish, attachment points for fender guards and much more. Our sliders can be produced as a weld-on design or as a bolt-on piece.
